I am sad…

Today, I have a photo tip and a creative life update.

UPDATE AND LESSONS - THE JOURNEY CONTINUES

So that’s me in the image above, walking. I am sad but not disheartened. I say that with complete conviction, so don’t you undermine my word, for there’s fruit in abundance on each side, with the sun shining and many possibilities in front of me. I did my best for three weeks to sell my beginner photography course. I ran ad campaigns, went on social media, and tried to sell the course with different price ranges, but the course didn’t sell.

My efforts to create the course will not be in vain. My experience and faith tell me it has a role to play somewhere in my life, but I am unsure where. Only time will tell. The course is online and will remain online. I have learned a lot about marketing and packaging a course, but I cannot spend more effort since I have to get back to YouTube and writing, which were my top priorities put on the back burner for completing the course. I have outsourced the ad campaign to a company, but it hasn’t brought any sales yet. I will let the ads run for another month or two.

I have sought clarity to some extent and am still seeking it. The focus is back on growing my audience organically. Also, I have been commissioned to write a whole batch of articles, which will bring in a decent amount of money in December, Insha Allah, and keep me busy. This makes me content and happy. As I said, there’s fruit in abundance; the world is full of possibilities. All a man can do is seek clarity, gather courage, make a plan and do his best. The rest is up to the fate. You either win, or you learn.

What do you say?

PS: I want to share something interesting about finding your unique voice, but that’s for the next week.

Quote of the day: “It is not defeat that destroys you. It is being demoralized by defeat that destroys you.” ~Imran Khan

Video of the day: What’s the value of art beyond canvas? I made a short film months ago but re-did its voiceover. I hope you enjoy it.

Kind regards
