Fear of Standing Still

Hi there,

I have achieved a few targets but have also done nothing this week. I am fasting throughout March; the remaining 10 to 12 days always hit me hard each year. So, I have found distractions and did not write the articles for which I will be paid 😊. To not work is not me, and that makes me feel bad.

So, I have done some work, but the ticked items don’t mean it was done this week. I have been a lazy bum. I did the following, and I will tell you the reason for sharing this.

  1. [Ongoing]: approached people in the market and will continue to do so.

  2. [Done]: revamped my galleries and made them more Google-friendly.

  3. [Paused]: posted quite a bit on social media and gained a few hundred followers. I’ll resume after the fasting period.

  4. [Ongoing]: posted quite a few travel and photo blogs. I’ll resume after the fasting period. I’m making my site rich with content so that it helps others and me with business.

  5. [Done]: I launched a new course on Landscape Photography on Udemy.com. If you are interested, I am running a promotion, and the course is temporarily available for 12.99 USD only. Click here to join or forward to those interested.

  6. [Done]: reviewed progress with my website team. We have made good progress, and Google is beginning to notice the site in a few areas. Nice progress, but there is a long way for longer-term success!

I have a priority list, yet my focus is scattered. As I mentioned last week, the moon instructing the stars to remain in motion embodies the eternal quest of everything in this universe. I am progressing; however, some days or weeks will be slower. The landscape photography course has consumed my time. I had over 2,000 students in my previous landscape photography course, but I took it offline because it was outdated. I hope to increase my income through this course and am thankful to those reviewing it (you know who you are). I fear standing still, and this arises from a sense of accountability. So, I suppose today’s newsletter is more for me than for you, a time for self-reflection. I will take it easy for the rest of the month and finish the articles I need to write, but April will bring me back to full flow.
